Mercy Primary Care Launches 65 Prime+, Celebrating Ribbon Cutting and Commitment to Senior Wellness

ST. PETERS, MO – November 14, 2025 – Mercy Primary Care officially celebrated the opening of its innovative new clinical model, 65 Prime+, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on Thursday, November 13, 2025. The event, attended by local leaders and Mercy staff, marked a significant expansion of comprehensive, specialized healthcare services for the region's senior population.
65 Prime+ located at 251 Salt Lick Road in St. Peters is a dedicated primary care clinic specifically designed to serve clients aged 65 and older. The model focuses on delivering highly personalized and coordinated health management. This includes extended appointment times, smaller patient panel sizes for deeper provider relationships, and a holistic approach to address the unique health complexities often faced by Medicare beneficiaries, such as chronic condition management and preventative wellness.
The ceremony featured remarks from key leaders instrumental in bringing this specialized care model to the community. Emily Combs, Chief Operating Officer for Mercy, delivered the opening address, emphasizing the strategic importance of tailoring healthcare to specific patient needs.
“Mercy recognizes that primary care for an individual over 65 requires a different approach—one rooted in time, coordination, and depth of focus,” said Combs. “The launch of 65 Prime+ is a testament to our enduring commitment to serving our community with dignity and providing specialized excellence where it is needed most. This facility ensures our seniors receive the comprehensive attention they deserve.”
Following Combs, Ryan Hamilton, Vice President of Operations, spoke about the operational structure designed to enhance the patient journey. “Every detail of the 65 Prime+ experience, from scheduling to the clinical layout, was intentionally crafted to reduce friction and improve accessibility for our senior patients,” Hamilton noted. “We are focused on supporting our care teams so they can, in turn, focus entirely on the patient, resulting in a model that truly makes healthcare easier.”
Finally, Abby Schock, Nurse Practitioner for the new Clinic, shared her perspective on the direct impact this model will have on patient care. “In the 65 Prime+ setting, we have the opportunity to build meaningful, lasting relationships with our patients,” Schock explained. “The extra time allows us to go beyond treating symptoms—we can truly understand their quality of life goals and create integrated care plans. We are excited to offer this higher level of focused, preventive, and responsive care.”
The ribbon-cutting concluded the ceremony, officially ushering in a new chapter of advanced primary care for seniors in the area. 65 Prime+ is now accepting new patients.
